Assignment charrettes are a unique, interactive workshop providing faculty with a chance to review and discuss their assignments and share ideas for making changes or improvements for student learning. You’ll submit an assignment from your course and work with a small group in short rotations to read and respond to each others’ assignment descriptions and grading criteria. This is a great source of ideas and inspiration for the new semester!
Share your assessment plans and concerns with colleagues and the OIE Academic Assessment team. Whether you need clarification on the process or just want a sounding board for your ideas for improving student learning, we’re here to problem solve and connect you with resources to make academic assessment a meaningful and transformative process.
Georgia Southern University regularly evaluates student achievement at the institutional level through a number of measures and aligns these with the University’s Mission and Strategic Plan. These institutional measures and students’ achievement on these measures are presented here.
