Pallet Challenge

New in 2018: youth (18 and under) and adult categories. All team members must be 18 and under to qualify for the youth category.

Form a team or go solo in this competition to up-cycle used pallets into something new and creative! What you make is up to you: the only requirement is that it be composed of at least 75% used pallets.

Up to 5 used pallets per team are available from Georgia Southern if needed. Pickup will take place at STEMfest on September 22, 2018 in front of the Nessmith Lane Building (PAC). Register online to participate by October 1, 2018. Teams must deliver the final entry by 10am October 6, 2018 on the Bulloch County Courthouse lawn at the Center for Sustainability’s Green Fest 2018 (taking place 9am-1pm). Entries will be judged by a celebrity panel, and winners in youth and adult categories will be announced at noon. Entry is free and prizes will be awarded.

To participate in this event, follow the Pallet Challenge Guidelines. Please register here and fill out this waiver for each member of your team (signed by a parent /or guardian if under 18). Fill out/drop off waivers at pallet pickup or email scanned waivers to prior to pallet pickup. No pallets will be given out without a signed waiver for each member of the team.
