Center for Sustainability to host 6th Annual GreenFest

The 6th Annual GreenFest is happening this Saturday in downtown Statesboro.

The event is sponsored by the Center for Sustainability at Georgia Southern University, as well as, the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority, and will feature green exhibits, vendors and workshops to teach visitors about going green.

Last year’s GreenFest garnered over 1,700 visitors, Lissa Leege, director of the CFS, said in a previous articleby The George-Anne.

There are many activities on the schedule for GreenFest, including a Green Cleaning Workshop, Natural Dyes Workshop and more. There will also be live music by the School of Rock.

GreenFest will take place on the Bulloch County Courthouse Lawn and East Main Street Downtown from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
