SAT Registration Fees


Walk-ins allowed, if space permits, an additional fee. You must complete the online Stand-By Registration Form to be admitted to the exam. See SAT Stand-By (Waitlist) Testing for more information.


You must upload a photo of you when you register for the exam (SAT Upload Photos). SAT has also updated the photo identification requirements to use for admission to the exam. See SAT ID Requirements. YOU MUST HAVE A PHOTO IDENTIFICATION TO BE ADMITTED TO TEST. If you do not have photo identification, you can obtain a form from your high school principal or school counselor. Testers cannot be admitted without their admission ticket which includes a photo and a photo ID (drivers’ license, school ID, a government-issued id – passport or state ID) or a letter with your photo attached from the high school.  (Effective March 2013)

All Date Changes & Center Changes must change your date or location through your SAT Student Account prior to the testing date. We can no longer accept admissions tickets with other center locations or testing dates.  All Test Changes must be made through your SAT Student Account prior to the testing date.

The SAT Exam takes place at Cone Hall on Saturdays. It is recommended that testers bring a snack and drink for the breaks and a jacket or sweater due to room temperatures.

The test is given at Georgia Southern on the following dates with the reporting time of 7:45 am in the Cone Hall Lobby: (for deadlines see the SAT Testing Dates)

Section 1: Reading Test: 65 minutes
10-Minute Break
Section 2: Writing & Language Test: 35 minutes
Section 3: Math Test – No Calculator: 25 minutes
5-Minute Break
Section 4: Math Test- Calculator: 55 minutes
2-Minute Break
Section 5: Optional Essay: 50 minutes
