National College Testing Association Conference Presentations
Dr. Theresa Beebe-Novotny, Coordinator of Testing Services (Statesboro) for the Academic Success Center, will be co-presenting alongside Nathalie Quarles from Tarrant County College in the upcoming 2022 National College Testing Association Conference. Their presentation, The Effective Manager Discussion: Becoming an Effective Manager, was inspired by the National College Testing Association’s Professional Development Book Club’s Spring 2022 read, The Effective Manager by Mark Horstman. The presentation will encourage attendees to improve their management skills and become more effective managers.
Dr. Novotny also presented at the 2021 National College Testing Association Conference on TEAM: Totally Excited About Motivation. The presentation focused on the steps testing staff can use to improve motivation in the office; she also shared low-cost strategies testing staff can use to help keep their staff motivated throughout the year.
