Volunteer Information

Interested in Getting Involved at the PAC?

The Performing Arts Center at Georgia Southern relies on many volunteers to help with our events. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to see quality cultural performances, meet new, exciting people, and help bring the joy of art to our community!

VOLUNTEER USHER PROGRAM

Our ushers assist in taking tickets, dispensing programs, helping patrons to their seats, and providing general information at ticketed events.

OPERATIONS VOLUNTEER

Don’t have free time in the evenings to volunteer as an usher? We are also looking for volunteers to help us out in our daily operations, completing tasks such as preparing mailings, helping out with our subscription drives, general office assistance, handing out flyers or posters around town, or assisting with event set up and management.

ORGANIZATION-WIDE VOLUNTEERING

Are you involved with an organization that has a mission of service to our community? Your organization can “adopt” one of our season performances, and assist in as much of the planning as you’d like – from providing hospitality for our artists and crew, helping out with marketing, sales, and promotion, and event management on the day of the performance. This program can be catered to your specific organizational mission, and in return, the PAC will publicly recognize your support on our website and social media, and with a listing in the event program.
