TUSKS! Ice Age Mammoths & Mastodons
Saturday, November 12, 2011, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Explore the world of prehistoric elephants and their relatives at the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences with a tour of the traveling exhibit Tusks! Ice Age Mammoths & Mastodons led by the Georgia Southern University Museum’s Curator of Paleontology, Dr. Katy Smith, a mastodon and mammoth researcher.
Tour will leave Statesboro, from the Museum, at 8:00 a.m. sharp and return by approximately 5:30 p.m. Bring your own lunch and wear comfortable shoes.
Must be 18 years or older to participate.
