Italian Culture, Customs, and Diet- Spring Break
SPEND YOUR SPRING BREAK GAINING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF ITALIAN CULTURE!
Students have the opportunity to earn and must be enrolled in 3 credit hours with their home institution. Students can choose from the following:
RHAB 4903- Independent Study (3)
WRIT 3030- Study Abroad Special Topics (3)
Students should possess at least a 2.5 institutional GPA at the time of application, with no active disciplinary record. All students must be fully admitted to the institution, and at least 18 years of age by the program departure date.
Dates of Program:
March 13– March 23, 2019 (Students are enrolled in the course for the entire Spring 2019 semester and will have electronic weekly meeting times and assignments prior to and following the travel dates.)
Includes: Round-trip airfare to the Italy; All regional and local transportation; lodging for the duration of the program; 5 meals; tour and excursion fees; and a medical travel insurance plan.
Additional Costs: Some meals and food that are not covered by program cost; incidental and personal expenses.
Application and Payment Schedule:
Program Application and $500.00: Due January 1, 2019
1st Program Payment of $2,000.00: Due January 15, 2019
2nd Program Payment of $1,800.00+ $20.00 mandatory travel insurance fee: Due February 15, 2019
All payments should be made through the Georgia Southern Studies Abroad “Italian Culture, Customs, and Diet- Spring Break” Marketplace webpage.
Once accepted to the program, all deposits and program payments are non-refundable.
