The University Honors Program, as the university-wide center for excellence in undergraduate education, plays a crucial role with undergraduate research at Georgia Southern University. Since the beginning of the Program, students have been required to complete Honors Theses or Capstone Projects. These faculty mentored projects have spanned traditional research models, applied research, and creative activities in all academic colleges and majors.
The Honors Program has some funding available to support student research. NOTE: Currently, we are not accepting applications for travel due to Covid-19 restrictions. Please see the form (link is below) for further details.
