Credentialing Staff to Teach FYE 1220
If you are an administrator or staff member, FYE must add adjunct faculty status in order for you to be able to teach FYE 1220. Formal credentialing is a one-time process, and requires information sent to FYE, and separately, transcripts sent to the Provost’s Office. Note: Faculty will have had this process completed by their academic departments and do not need to submit any additional paperwork.
Documents Sent to FYE
- A current resume or curriculum vitae listing your current position at Georgia Southern; and,
- The Credentialing for FYE 1220 Instructor form, which allows us to process additional paperwork (a PA adding faculty status and the “Faculty Information Data” form)
Please send these documents to Brenda Richardson (email@example.com). If you would prefer not to email this information (we don’t need SSN, but some of information is sensitive), you may mail it to Box 8145 or hand-deliver it to the FYE office in Williams Center 1001.
The Provost’s Office will also need an official copy of each instructor’s graduate transcripts.
If your graduate degree is from Georgia Southern University or Armstrong State University, the Registrar’s Office is providing those transcripts to us. If your credentials are from another institution, official transcripts can be sent to Dr. Christine Ludowise (firstname.lastname@example.org) electronically by the institution (if available) or by mail. The mailing address is:
Dr. Christine Ludowise
Georgia Southern University
Statesboro, GA 30460
Please do not send your transcripts to FYE.
If you have questions, please contact Brenda Richardson or Dr. Ludowise.
