Joining Phi Eta Sigma, Statesboro Chapter

Congratulations on being offered admission to Phi Eta Sigma! To learn more about the organization, visit our local and national websites.

The 2020 induction for the Statesboro chapter will be held on Sunday, February 9. Parents and guests are encouraged to attend!

The simplest way to join is through the email Dr. Caplinger sent to your Georgia Southern account on Dec. 18. This requires paying by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). However, if you’re hesitant to click on links in an email you can navigate to the site and manually enter your information:

Finally, you can follow the links in your email invitation or complete this form and return with your check or cash (no credit cards accepted onsite) to the Williams Center 1001.

If you plan to attend the induction, the deadline for completing this process is Friday, January 24 (mail or in person) or Sunday, January 26 (online). The final deadline to join if not attending the ceremony is March 1 (online, mail or in person).

Didn’t receive an email or letter?

The Georgia Southern chapter of Phi Eta Sigma extends offers to join in December to students who 1) begin at Georgia Southern as new college students the spring, summer or fall of that calendar year; 2) take at least 12 hours in the fall; and, 3) have earned a cumulative Georgia Southern GPA of 3.6 or higher. The chapter sends letters to students’ permanent home address as well as via email.
