About Us
The ELP offers curriculum opportunities in English as a second language and exposure to the cultures of the United States through dynamic courses at various levels. We also offer mentorships from cross-cultural faculty and staff, real-life learning activities taken outside of the classroom, and conditional admission into Georgia Southern University.
We serve students and the community at-large to increase their cultural-awareness and enrichment of learning the English language for a variety of academic, professional, or personal reasons. Not only does the program focus on gaining fluency in English, but also celebrates diversity and transcultural experiences. On average, Georgia Southern hosts students from 90 different countries from all around the world. Including countries such as:
