Required books for classes on the approved course list are provided as rentals to students under the dual enrollment program. Books provided to students under the dual enrollment program must be returned at the end of the semester in good condition to avoid fees. Students will be charged for lost or damaged books. Books are not provided for 1) courses that are not on the approved list; or, 2) any text that is not required by the instructor. Some required course materials may not be covered by the program (i.e. drawing kits). If you are unsure if the program will cover the cost of a required material, such as a software program or app, please contact the University Bookstore or Armstrong Bookstore before purchasing it. You cannot be refunded for the cost if it is not purchased through the Bookstore.
Students must be present and must show their Eagle ID card to pick up their textbooks from the University Store on the Statesboro Campus or from the Armstrong Bookstore on the Armstrong/Liberty campuses. Students must also bring a completed Textbook Rental Agreement with them in order to pick up their textbooks, which must be signed by their parent/guardian if they are under 18 years of age. Students should check their Georgia Southern email approximately one month before the beginning of the semester for more information on picking up textbooks.
