Academic Standing Policy

Below is the Academic Standing Policy for dual enrollment students. The policy is effective beginning Fall 2018.

Dual enrollment students who earn below a 2.0 Institutional GPA and whose Academic Standing is anything but Good Academic Standing must meet with their Georgia Southern advisor prior to the start of classes the following semester of enrollment to discuss their progress and the requirements that must be fulfilled while they are not in good standing. In addition to the initial meeting with their advisor, students will have to meet with a Success Coach in the Academic Success Center and be enrolled in GSU 1000 Academic Improvement Coaching, a zero credit course, each semester until their Institutional GPA is above a 2.0 and back in good academic standing.

For more information, please refer to the Academic Standing Policy.
