Basic Conversational French
Basic Conversational French is an introductory course that will help develop your listening, reading and writing abilities. As you grow in your knowledge of the French language, you will be able to greet new people, talk about yourself, plan activities and so much more!
Instruction will also include how to develop sentences, answer questions and make comparisons using the present tense. This class will consist of lecture, audio, visuals and speaking in partners and whole group skits.
No book is necessary as the instructor will provide handouts.

Dr. Hapsatou Wane
Hapsatou Wane, Ph.D., is a native of Senegal, West Africa. She has taught all levels of French on the Georgia Southern University Armstrong campus since 2016, and enjoys teaching about French/Francophone cultures and literatures as well. Wane obtained her Ph.D. in comparative and world literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
