The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is one of nine colleges that comprise Georgia Southern University. One of our newer colleges, it offers 13 undergraduate degrees and five graduate degrees including the Doctor of Psychology. CBSS consists of the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Department of Public and Non-Profit Studies, Department of Psychology, School of Human Ecology, and the Department of Political Science and International Studies.

The mission of the Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia (PFCCAG) Inc., is to improve the lives of children in Georgia by promoting professional, high quality family child care through the encouragement of training, education, and national accreditation. PFCCAG was established in 2013 and has members statewide. We are the VOICE of family child care in Georgia.

The Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children (GAEYC) supports the education and development of Georgia’s young children ages birth – 8. GAEYC is the Georgia affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Southern Early Childhood Association. Established in 1966, GAEYC has been serving young children for more than 45 years.

Child Care Resource & Referral of Southeast Georgia (CCR&R) uses a team approach to help families, early child care educational professionals, and community members to help facilitate safe, high-quality, learning environments. On-site, technical assistance is provided to child care programs participating in Quality Rated. We also provide state-approved trainings and professional development opportunities for child care providers throughout the 40 county region.
