THE NATIONAL CROSS-CULTURAL COUNSELING AND EDUCATION CONFERENCE
for
RESEARCH, ACTION, & CHANGE
Since 2002, the National Cross-Cultural Counseling and Education Conference has served as a professional diversity platform for critical interactions and community building around topics of oppression, identity, society, and social action. Together, we consider how counseling and education can address diversity, equity and inclusion; systemic racism and oppression; trauma in marginalized communities, and networking with community-based organizations, corporations, local governments, and healthcare facilities.
The NCCEC continues to be a source of restoration and a call for strategic practices for social justice advocacy, cross-cultural awareness, and change. Our renowned Cross-Spencer Lecture Series, named after Drs. William Cross, Jr. and Leon Spencer, invites participants to deeply explore the topic of identity. With an emphasis on skill-building, attendees leave the conference with practical, actionable strategies that embrace anti-oppressive perspectives.
