12-Week SHRM Learning System

This 36-hour review course offers participants a broad overview of human resource (HR) information that includes management issues. In partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), this course covers eight behavioral and leadership competencies:
- leadership and navigation
- ethical practice
- business acumen
- relationship management
- critical evaluation
- global and cultural effectiveness
In addition to these eight units, the SHRM Learning System course reviews technical knowledge related to HR expertise which includes recruitment and selection, compensation, talent management, training and development, employee relations and engagement as well as compliance.
Demetra Morgan has over 15 years of human resource experience in both the public and private sectors. She is the CEO and managing principal of D.E.E. Results, LLC and a continuing education instructor at Clayton State University where she has taught Essentials of Human Resource Management, PHR & SPHR Certification Exam Prep, SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP Certification Exam Prep, and a series of five courses in church administration which she developed. Morgan holds designations as both a certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR), and a Society for Human Resource Management senior certified professional (SHRM-SCP).
