Shania Guyton joined the Georgia Southern University Division of Continuing Education as the Program Coordinator in August 2021. Shanina coordinates the professional development and personal enrichment programs for adults and military personnel. Prior to working in continuing education, Shanina worked for 2 years as an Administrative Assistant in Georgia Southern University’s Allen E. Paulsen College of Engineering and Computing.
Shanina is a retired Army Medic with 20+ years of experience. Her specialties include training management, plans and operations, credentialing, and professional development. Shanina has a BS in Health Services in Professional Development and Advanced Patient Care from Grand Canyon University. Shanina is currently pursuing a post Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Georgia Southern University.
In her free time, Shanina enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She volunteers with the Southeast Georgia American Red Cross Chapter as a Disaster Action Team member and Blood Donor Ambassador. She also volunteers with the Neighborhood Improvement Association in Savannah, GA.
Shanina is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and is a member of the Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Inc. She currently resides in Richmond Hill, GA with her family.
