Michel Blitch joined Georgia Southern’s Division of Continuing Education (CE) in February 2018. As a conference specialist, she coordinates and oversees the development of academic conferences. Previously, she developed, coordinated and evaluated professional development courses for the Division. 

Prior to joining CE, Michel worked in early childhood education. She has served as the director of a child development center and taught at the elementary school level in grade levels K–5 and ESOL. In addition, she was a founding teacher of a Reggio-Inspired school in Decatur, GA.

Michel is a native of McDonough, GA and an active member of NAEYC. She lives in Claxton, GA with her husband and young son.
