I am an alumnus of Armstrong State University. Are services still available to me?
Yes, alumni of Armstrong State University are able to take advantage of all the services provided to alumni of Georgia Southern University.
Do I need to have a Georgia Southern or Armstrong State email address to access Handshake?
No. You may request a Handshake account using a personal email address. To request an account via Handshake visit https://students.georgiasouthern.edu/career/handshake/. Click the Alumni tab for further instructions.
If I want to schedule an “In-Person” appointment, where will the appointment take place?
In-person appointments for alumni, regardless of which original university or campus you attended, will take place at our Savannah campus (formerly Armstrong State University). The most up-to-date information on our office locations can be found here.
Are there options available for alumni no longer living in the Statesboro-Savannah-Hinesville area?
Yes. Individuals now have the option to select from in-person, video, or phone appointments when scheduling appointments via Handshake. When completing the fields on the New Appointment page, select the desired option in the field labeled Appointment Medium.
How long can I continue to utilize the Office of Career and Professional Development?
At this time, services will remain available for life.
