Computing Focus Area
The Computing fields help students develop analytical and problem solving skills and apply them to today’s – and tomorrow’s – technology. Computer Science provides a strong emphasis on programming and software development for fields such as computer security, mobile computing, game programming, and broadband networking. Information Technology prepares students to build websites and apps, establish and maintain computer networks, and solve problems using data analytics. Students learn about artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and digital forensics, and data mining.

Computer Science
Provides students with a solid foundation in the design, implementation, and application of computer software systems, an understanding of the concepts of computer science and functional background in computer hardware and understanding in math.

Information Technology
Prepares tomorrow’s IT innovators and digital problem-solvers who will lead America’s fastest growing career field. Specialization areas include Information Management, Web and Multimedia Foundations, and Networking and Datacenter Administration.
