Get a Second Bachelor’s Degree

You’re called a post-baccalaureate if you already have a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern or another institution and want to enroll in additional undergraduate level courses. You may not want to complete a second degree, but take extra classes to further your education. No problem, that is an option at Georgia Southern as well!

Admissions Requirements for Post-baccalaureate Students

Degree Seeking

  1. Apply for Admission (The $30 application fee is waived for all students for No Fee November: October 31 through November 30).
  2. Official transcripts from all previous institutions.

On Page 3 of your application, under “Enrollment Information:”

  • Application Type: “Post-Baccalaureate”
  • Do you plan to seek a degree? “Yes”
  • What degree do you intend to earn? “Bachelor’s”
  • What is your intended major? Choose the major you intend to earn.

Non-Degree Seeking

  1. Apply for Admission ($30 non-refundable application fee).
  2. Official transcript from the institution in which undergraduate degree was received.

On Page 3 of your application, under “Enrollment Information:”

  • Application Type: “Post-Baccalaureate”
  • Do you plan to seek a degree? “No”
  • What degree do you intend to earn? “Select a degree”
  • What is your intended major? “Non Degree – Post Baccalaureate”

Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for federal financial aid.
