and The Lamar Q Ball, Jr. Raptor Center

Volunteer

Updated – 10/27/2011:

Volunteers are a big asset to the Center for Wildlife Education. However policy has recently changed at Georgia Southern University, immediately impacting volunteer opportunities at the Wildlife Center.

•We will no longer be accepting short-term volunteers who are volunteering only for class credit or projects.

•Volunteers MUST be 18 years of age or older.

•We will no longer accept community service or court mandated workers.

Despite the current university policy changes there are still rewarding and fun volunteer opportunities at the Wildlife Center.

If you are a student at Georgia Southern University, we strongly encourage you to register with Volunteer Services on campus. They offer a Volunteer Transcript to all registered students with a minimum of 200 service hours. For more information, contact Volunteer Services at 912-478-7270 or visit their office.
