Center for Wildlife Education
and The Lamar Q Ball, Jr. Raptor Center

Daily Program Schedule

Join the Wildlife Center Staff each day at 3:30 p.m. for a 30 minute wildlife program

Monday – Ophidiophobia
Thirty-three percent of adults have ophidiophobia, the fear of snakes. Come learn why snakes aren’t as bad as they seem and are really more afraid of us than we are them.

Tuesday – Hunt or be Hunted
Learn how these animals catch their prey and why they’re not always successful.

Wednesday – Wild About Wildlife
Join our staff as they bring out animals from all over the world. You will certainly be wild about wildlife when you leave.

Thursday – Can I Keep it?
What animal can I have as a pet? Determine the importance of leaving wildlife in the wild, while having a really cool, and legal, pet to show off to your friends.

Friday – What is a Raptor?
Join our staff as they show you examples of these majestic birds of prey as they bring them out on their arm or in a flight show demonstration.
