The Test of English as a Foreign
Language (TOEFL) evaluates the English proficiency of people whose native
language is not English. Most people who take TOEFL are planning to study at
colleges and universities where instruction is in English.
The TOEFL tests are used for
undergraduate and graduate placement for international candidates.
