IMPORTANT NOTICE: 

The PRAXIS I will no longer be accepted by the College of Education after September 1, 2006.  If you need to take the PRAXIS I, it has been replaced with the GACE Exam.  The PRAXIS II will no longer be accepted by the College of Education after September 1, 2006, unless you meet the criteria.  Please see the GACE Website or speak with a representative from the College of Education prior to registering for the PRAXIS exam.


PRAXIS I (PPST) tests are used for entrance to the Education Program.  The PPST is offered as both a computer based test and a paper & pencil test.  To find out information on what tests are required for State Certifications, click here.  

PRAXIS II (Subject Assessment) is used for teacher certification in Education. To find out information on what tests are required for State Certifications, click here.
