Eco-Reps

The Georgia Southern Eco-reps are dedicated to increasing knowledge and understanding of sustainability issues by promoting environmental and social responsible behaviors to their fellow Eagles.

What do the Eco-reps do?

The Georgia Southern Eco-Reps are student leaders who help to raise awareness about ecological issues, encourage environmentally and socially responsible behavior in their hall mates and peers, and plan related events and activities. They also organize group activities, collaborative projects, and represent the Eco-Reps Program at various campus events. Eco-Reps must attend a training as well as bi-weekly meetings. At each meeting you’ll be introduced to a new topic, help plan activities, and brainstorm actions to take in the residence halls. Each rep receives a solar backback with their names embroidered at the end of their first term! You must be available to attend a training day.
