Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam
(MPRE)

The purpose of the MPRE is to measure the examinee’s knowledge and understanding of established standards related to a lawyer’s professional conduct; the MPRE is not a test to determine an individual’s personal ethical values.  The test is administered for the National Conference of Bar Examiners by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).

The MPRE is offered three times a year.  For information concerning registration, fee waivers, policies and procedures, and future dates consult the MPRE website at http://www.ncbex.org.

The MPRE Format
Two hour 60 multiple-choice questions exam.

The tests are given at Georgia Southern on the national testing dates:

Picture Identification Required for All Tests
Please make sure you bring an acceptable ID

Acceptable IDs are: a valid state driver’s license, passport.
(Not accepted: check cashing cards, picture credit cards, Sam’s cards, etc.)
