This exam is not offered on any of Georgia Southern University campuses.

The GMAT is a computer-adaptive test. The GMAT includes four sections Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal. The exam is three and a half hours but plan for four hours. You may not skip, return to, or change your response to previous questions. Below is a breakdown of the exam.

Analytical Writing Assessment

  • Analysis of an Argument, 1 topic, 30 minutes

Integrated Reasoning

  • Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphic Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, & Table Analysis
  • 12 questions, 30 minutes

Quantitative

  • Problem solving and data sufficiency
  • 37 questions, 75 minutes
  • Calculator use not permitted

Verbal

  • Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction
  • 41 questions, 75 minutes

An unofficial score report listing the quantitative and verbal score is provided at the end of the test. The official score report which will also include the essay score is mailed to the test taker and designated school(s) in approximately two weeks.

The GMAT tests are used for graduate admission in business.  The GMAT is totally computer-based testing (CBT). Georgia Southern does not currently administer this test.  The closest testing center is in Savannah, GA. To register for the exam, visit the GMAT website.
