RGTR 0198--Regents' Exam Reading
RGTR 0198 is designed to help students achieve a passing score on the Regents' Reading Exam. This course emphasizes academic reading skills including vocabulary, literal and inferential comprehension, analysis, and differentiation between main ideas and details.
Regents' Test: Use this link for info about the Regents' Test. Of special interest to students are the practice versions of Form 23 of the Regents’ Reading Test. Students may take the short practice version and automatically receive a scale score. Students who are having difficulty may find the full-length version with instructional feedback useful. In addition, students may be interested in accessing the complete list of approved essay topics and essay instructions. Come by the ASC to sign up to attend a workshop or make an appointment to talk with a tutor about preparing to take the Regents' Test.
The Academic Success Center is located on the second floor of Cone Hall across the pedestrium from Hollis and Rosenwald.
