0097--Beginning Algebra
(4 hours institutional credit)
MATH 0097 is the first of two courses designed for students who are not prepared to enter a college core curriculum mathematics course. Beginning Algebra consists of a study of the structure of the real number system, properties of real numbers, first degree equations and inequalities, applications, exponents, polynomials, functions and graphs.
The Academic Success Center is located on the second floor of Cone Hall across the pedestrium from Hollis and Rosenwald.
