Publication Assistance Program

The Faculty Research Committee provides funding for support of costs relating to accepted faculty publications for refereed journals/publishers.

Eligibility

• A faculty may request a maximum of $500 per fiscal year
• A faculty may submit a Publication Fund Request one time per fiscal year as an author or co-author (Note: publication fund requests will be returned if any author on the article has received funding within the fiscal year.)
• Support is limited to Peer-reviewed journals. Funding does not cover publication costs for books or book chapters
• Funds are distributed on a first come first serve basis
• Student authored articles are not eligible for this funding

Eligible charges

• Reprints or Off-prints
• Page charges (pay for journal space only - not pre publication services)
• copyright fees associated with publication of an article or book

When submitting a request please include:

• Publication Fund Request Form
• Purchase Requisition
• Original invoice from publisher
• Copy of article being submitted for publication

Send all required forms/documents to the Office of Research Services and Sponsored Programs. Additional supporting documentation may be requested.
