Applying to the IRB The ORSSP website offers many sources of information to provide an in-depth understanding the role and mandate of the IRB, University policies, IRB training, and forms required to complete the application. Please use the links below to help you in applying to the IRB: Before Applying to the IRB If you need assistance determining if IRB approval is requires, please Contact the Compliance Coordinator. How to Apply to the IRB When applying for approval to conduct research that involves humans as research participants, submitting all appropriate forms and documents is imperative. Please utilize the following links to websites that will provide directions for completing all necessary forms, as well as the required on-line training. After Applying to the IRB After you have submitted all of the necessary forms and documents with the required signatures for approval by the IRB, you will receive a notice indicating receipt of your application with an ID number assigned to your application. You may use this ID number to check on the status of your application using the link provided below. For those applications that follow the expedited review process, a review of your application may take 2-3 weeks. Remember, applications requiring a full board review will be reviewed at the next convened IRB meeting. |
