I offer you a warm welcome to Georgia Southern University’s academic programs.  Academics are the cornerstone of a Georgia Southern University education.  Through programs that are responsive to the needs of the region and beyond, Georgia Southern University students gain the intellectual and professional skills that will prepare them for productive lives in a global, knowledge-based environment.  Our campus is home to a diverse and dynamic community of innovators and leaders.  Each day across our campus, our remarkable students and faculty are engaged in pursuing discoveries and creating knowledge that holds the potential to transform lives in Georgia, around the country, and around the world.

With 71 undergraduate degree programs, 38 master’s, 9 specialists, and 6 doctoral programs, Georgia Southern University offers a vast array of educational opportunities for full- and part-time students, both on and off-campus.  Interdisciplinary majors, online learning, first-year experience, and international studies add to the opportunities.
