Take your students on a mapping adventure around the world! Our geography programs introduce the concept of maps to young children and help older children explore the ways geography impacts their lives. All programs are presented as interactive games in which all students participate. Offered for:

Museum Safari (PreK — 2nd Grade)

This mapping program helps students understand the differences and similarities between maps and globes. Students play a variety of games that teach cardinal and intermediate directions.

People and the Land (4th — 8th Grade)
This mapping program explores various types of maps and how they can be used to make important decisions. Students will be put into groups and will use several types of maps that will help them figure out the best area in the Southeast to build a warehouse.
