The University Mentor Program was created to help orient new Georgia Southern faculty to the community and campus, but mainly to help new faculty to reach their full potential in teaching, scholarship, and service. The program includes a select network of faculty members from each of the university's college who voluntarily serve as mentors to new faculty members who are interested in jumpstarting their careers in Georgia Southern's academic community. The program is designed to pair you, the new faculty member, with a University Mentor of your choice. The University Mentor Program is sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching, and is coordinated by Dr. Tom Case.
