Registering for Classes

Undergraduate Students 

Students are currently able to access the Pre-Advisement Course in Folio (located in my.georgiasouthern.edu) after signing up for SOAR.  Within this course, you will be asked to explore your major, confirm or change it, and at the end be asked to complete a form that is required in order for your advisor to have all the information they need to create your schedule.  Students will get email confirmation to your GS email account that they successfully submitted this preference form. This process should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than 1 week prior to your scheduled SOAR session.

Advisors will begin working on schedules several weeks before the beginning of the term.  Schedules will be worked on in the order they are received.  

Graduate Students

You will register for classes through WINGS, an electronic system located in the my.georgiasouthern.edu portal. Detailed information on how to access WINGS and register for courses will be sent to you along with your acceptance letter. Once accepted for admission, you should contact your advisor to help you determine which classes you should take before you actually register.
