All program participants must be high school graduates and should have some knowledge of English. Students applying for a student (F-1) visa must demonstrate ability to meet financial obligations of the program. Students are expected to seriously pursue their English studies while enrolled in the program.
Admission to the ELP does not guarantee acceptance to undergraduate or graduate degree programs at Georgia Southern University. Application procedures are different for the English Language Program, undergraduate degree programs, and graduate degree programs. Students who are interested in attending Georgia Southern University to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree should contact the Office of Admissions or the College of Graduate Studies for information about application procedures.
