Under the auspices of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Georgia, I direct the Lilly Teaching Fellows program, which is entering its twenty-fifth year on our campus. I am also a Professor in the Hodgson School of Music where I have taught applied horn since 1990. I attended Lawrence University and the Manhattan School of Music, from which I received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree. My activities as a performer and conference presenter have taken me to Brazil, Canada, England, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, and Russia.
