I am an instructional professional at Arizona State University’s Center for Learning and Teaching Excellence and a Faculty Associate in the College of Education. At the Center, I teach workshops on active learning, cooperative learning, motivating students, and teaching large classes. Along with a few colleagues, I am working on a research project related to creating classroom community in online learning environments. I teach one class a semester in early childhood education or literacy education to stay connected with students and the current issues facing faculty in the classroom.
