AuthorJohn Tagg I teach composition and literature at Palomar College, a comprehensive community college in San Marcos, California. I began to explore ideas for a more learning-centered college with my colleague Bob Barr, resulting in our 1995 Change magazine article, "From Teaching to Learning: A New Paradigm for Undergraduate Education." In 2003, I published The Learning Paradigm College (Anker) which explores both the nature of collegiate learning and the sources of resistance to organizational change. I have subsequently written on these issues in Change, About Campus, and The Observatory for Borderless Higher Education and have articles scheduled to appear this year in Change and On the Horizon. I am pleased to serve on the Editorial Review Board of International Journal for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. |
