Witman I am an Instructor of Information Technology Management in the School of Business at California Lutheran University, and a Ph.D. student in the School of Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University and a Bachelor’s in Math/Computer Science from UCLA. My dissertation research is in the area of very large scale software reuse, and my other research interests include information security, usability, technology adoption and continuance, electronic banking and finance, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Laurie Richlin With a doctorate in higher education from Claremont Graduate University, I direct the Preparing Future Faculty & Learning Communities Program at Claremont, direct the Lilly Conference on College and University Teaching – West, am Executive Editor of the Journal on Excellence in College Teaching, and am President of the International Alliance of Teacher Scholars. In 2003 I received the Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network in Higher Education Special Achievement Award for notable contribution to the profession of instructional, faculty, and organizational development. Recent publications include Blueprint for Learning: Constructing College Courses to Facilitate, Assess, and Document Learning (Stylus, 2006) and several chapters and editing (with Milt Cox) the New Directions for Teaching and Learning issue, Building Faculty Learning Communities (Jossey-Bass).
