Potential meets action in the Honors College at Georgia Southern. We recruit the most talented students from across the nation (and around the world) and develop their skills through a curriculum centered on research and critical thinking so that they are ready to seek the creative solutions necessary to meet the challenges facing our society.  And, through our experiential learning opportunities, they are putting these skills to practice while they are still in college.  Your gifts empower and enable students to achieve and excel.

Honors College Professional Development: Through mentorship and advisement, we help students enhance their abilities.  Your support will enable them to take advantage of critical opportunities such as internships, research experiences, and travel to professional meetings and conferences.  We insure our students are ready to thrive. 

Global Honors: Our world is interconnected and college students need to develop intercultural and international skills more than ever.  Through meaningful global experiences like those at Georgia Southern’s Wexford Learning Center in Ireland, our students are involved in international research and learning opportunities. 

Honors Scholarship Funds: Recruiting and retaining high performing students requires scholarship funds.  All levels of support are welcome but larger gifts can be designated for students in particular colleges.
