Nationally Competitive Scholarships
Georgia Southern University students are encouraged to consider applying for a nationally competitive scholarship or fellowship. These competitive opportunities are sources of substantial funding for undergraduate studies, graduate education and international experiences.
The University Honors Program serves as the campus clearinghouse for these awards and is committed to working with all Georgia Southern students during the advising and application process.
Navigating the Application Process
The selection process for each of these awards is highly competitive and advanced preparation is essential. Staff members of the University Honors Program are committed to providing support for all Georgia Southern University students who wish to apply.
Interested students should begin the process well in advance of the posted campus deadline. The following initial steps are recommended:
- Research awards using the corresponding websites
- Schedule an appointment with the University Honors Program at least two months prior to the campus deadline
