Peer Educators

Peers are often the most effective educators, and accordingly, First-Year Experience (FYE) uses undergraduate peer educators extensively to reach out to first-year students. Click below for a brief description of each role, as well as a link to a more extensive position description.

Peer Leaders

Peer leaders help first-year students acclimate to college life through social and academic mentoring in FYE courses. Additionally, peer leaders serve as a resource to the FYE professor and learn valuable leadership skills. This is a volunteer position for which students can receive service credit. To learn more about this volunteer position, click here.

Applications for 2017 Peer Leaders are now closed. Please check back in December 2017 for Fall 2018 applications.
