Graduate Assistantships in FYE, 2017-18

First-Year Experience (FYE) is currently accepting applications for the following graduate assistant positions:

  • Advisement Graduate Assistant: This position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience advising a caseload of students/customers, facilitating presentations and group workshops, and developing leadership skills as an integral part of a dynamic office environment.   • Curriculum Design and Faculty Support: Going into a field that requires content-creation or assessment experience? This position supports the work of FYE by reviewing and assessing curriculum for FYE courses and programs, assisting in faculty development, and marketing FYE initiatives.   • Student Leadership & Programming Graduate Assistant: This position assists the work of FYE through support of the student leadership programs connected to FYE’s curricular initiatives. This position works closely with the recruitment, selection, training and oversight of FYE 1220 peer educators. More details available in this position description.

All positions begin in fall 2017. Applicants must be unconditionally accepted into a graduate school program, have a cumulative 3.0 GPA, and be enrolled in a minimum of nine hours per semester.
