First-Year Experience

During SOAR, all first-year students enroll in a First-Year Seminar (FYE 1220).  The course is mandatory in the fall semester.  In this course, you'll learn information literacy and other research skills by investigating a theme of your choosing.

Before your advisor will release you to register, he or she will ask to see your theme preference ranking.  In order to not delay your registration process, complete this form and bring it with you to your advisement session at SOAR:

• By section designation (order generated by WINGS, or registration, searches)
