GeorgiaVIEW Student Support

All of the features that are required by GeorgiaVIEW can now be tested within the system itself: Check Browser. This will perform several checks on your computer, and if any of them fail, simply follow the steps to diagnose and fix the problem.

Troubleshooting Resources

  • Use the Check Browser feature in GeorgiaVIEW. This will perform several checks on your computer, and if any of them fail, simply follow the steps to diagnose and fix the problem.
  • If you have a problem with GeorgiaVIEW itself, using the Help menu in the upper right corner while inside your course. It is context-sensitive and will give exact instructions.
  • Known Issues - how to fix the most common GeorgiaVIEW problems.
  • Supported Browsers - list of supported browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and issues associated with each.
  • Required Plug-Ins - common software you may be required to use with GeorgiaVIEW.
  • Tutorials - GeorgiaVIEW tutorials for students.

Support for Students in Online-Only Programs

Student Online Learning Orientation (SOLO) is a special orientation for online students. The orientation, provided by the Center for Online Learning, cotains tutorials, links to online campus resources and other information for those who will not be coming to campus for their studies. GeorgiaVIEW Online Support Center- Everyday all day, 365 days a year.

The OSC is a 24x7 helpdesk service. Its first and main goal is to provide a knowledgebase and self-service portal for answering common questions. You can also create an account and open tickets, chat with live personnel, or call them. Check out the growing number of support topics for both faculty and students.
