Biography:  Teaching international students was first sparked while I was a student volunteer at UNCC. This later lead to studying in France, and working in Japan as an International Relations Coordinator. Upon my return to the United States, I became a mother to twin sons and devoted my time as a stay-at-home mother. Prior to coming to Georgia Southern, I established a local ESL program for new immigrants living in the Statesboro area. I have been teaching ESL for nearly 20 years and I think teaching is a very rewarding job because I  learn from my students every day. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and doing creative activities with my family.
